Extravagant Choice: Diamonds
Buying a diamond is big investment, and therefore it requires a lot of research. You should prepare yourself to learn about the 4 c's of the diamond world. These describe cut, color, clarity, and carat. They are the descriptors that make diamonds so valuable. So, for instance, you might see a really big diamond, but upon close inspection you could see a flaw in the diamond (bad clarity), and therefore it wouldn't be a good pick.
